NUGEN taps are lead-free DZR brass with a chrome-plated finish and ≤0.25% lead – meeting NCC 2022 requirements, suited to education, hospitality, and general commercial projects. GPURE® Rebel is Grade 304 stainless with zero lead and a polished stainless finish, for commercial and health settings. GPURE® Nugen uses Grade 316 stainless steel waterways (water-contact surfaces) and Grade 304 for the body, with 0.00% lead and laminar flow – specified for hospitals, aged care, and clinical environments.
Yes. All Gentec single lever mixer taps carry Lead Free WaterMark certification confirming compliance with the NCC 2022 lead-free standard – a maximum weighted average lead content of 0.25%. This is mandatory for all mixer taps in contact with drinking water from 1 May 2026. Certification documentation is available for project records on request.
GPURE® Nugen is the recommended specification for hospitals, aged care, pathology, and food-processing environments. Grade 316 stainless steel waterways provide the highest corrosion resistance in the water-contact zone, and zero lead content exceeds NCC 2022 requirements. Laminar flow reduces aerosol formation, supporting infection-control protocols. For general health settings where Grade 316 waterways are not mandated, GPURE® Rebel Grade 304 stainless is appropriate.
