GPURE® GENEVO - Zero Lead Stainless Steel Sensor Taps That Need No Mains Power

Most sensor tap retrofits hit the same wall – there’s no mains power where the basin needs to go. The GPURE® GENEVO was built around that problem.

Manufactured from stainless steel with zero-lead waterways, GENEVO taps run entirely on a proprietary long-life battery. No electrical infrastructure required, which makes them practical for healthcare retrofits, heritage buildings, remote facilities, and public infrastructure projects where running power isn’t viable.

The solenoid valve is rated to 500,000 cycles. Hygiene flush programming reduces Legionella risk in infrequently used fixtures. And the Push-Fit mechanism means the tap body can be removed and replaced in under a minute – without tools, without taking the washroom offline.

Compatible with Gentec STERISAN® wash basins, the GENEVO works as a complete infection control system rather than just a tap.

GPURE® GENEVO Electronic Sensor Tapware – Why retrofit and off-grid projects specify GPURE® GENEVO:

• Operates without mains power – runs entirely on a proprietary long-life battery, removing the need for electrical infrastructure at each basin position
• Eliminates the cost of running power to individual basin locations – particularly significant in retrofit, heritage, and remote facility projects
Grade 316 zero-lead stainless steel construction – 0.00% lead content throughout the water pathway, meeting strict infection control specifications
Push-Fit locking mechanism allows tap body removal and replacement in under a minute, without tools or washroom downtime
• Solenoid valve tested to 500,000 cycles – long-term reliability data for procurement teams calculating total cost of ownership
• Built-in hygiene flush programming automatically purges infrequently used fixtures, reducing Legionella risk without staff intervention
• Sensor range, run timing and hygiene flush intervals adjustable post-installation via remote control – wave-on/wave-off mode also available
• Available in three configurations – wall-mounted (GPG2500), hob-mounted (GPG1000), and gooseneck wall-mounted with internal infrared sensor (GPG3000)
• Compatible with Gentec STERISAN® wash basins for a complete zero-contact infection control washroom system
• Ideal for hospitals, aged care facilities, correctional facilities, public infrastructure, heritage buildings and remote locations
• Suitable for both new installations and retrofits where connecting to mains power is impractical, costly or not permitted
WELS 6-star rated and Watermark certified – compliant with Australian Standards for commercial and healthcare tapware

GPURE® GENEVO - Zero Lead Stainless Steel Sensor Taps FAQs

Does the GPURE® GENEVO really need no mains power at all?

Correct. The GENEVO operates entirely on a proprietary battery – there is no mains power connection required at any point in its operation. This makes it ideal for retrofit projects, heritage buildings, remote facilities, and anywhere electrical infrastructure is limited or too costly to install.

How long does the GPURE® GENEVO battery last?

The GENEVO uses a proprietary long-life battery system. Battery life will vary depending on usage frequency, sensor activation duration, and hygiene flush programming settings. Contact the Gentec team for estimated battery life based on your project’s anticipated usage profile.

What is the Push-Fit locking technology?

Push-Fit is a unique Gentec-engineered connection mechanism that allows the GENEVO tap body to be installed or removed in under a minute without tools. This significantly reduces maintenance downtime – critical in healthcare facilities where washrooms cannot be taken out of service for extended periods.

Can the GENEVO sensor settings be adjusted after installation?

A: Yes. Sensor range, run timing, and hygiene flush programming can all be adjusted post-installation using an optional remote control. Wave-on/wave-off operation and other run time modes are also available, either configured on request or adjusted on site.

What are the available configurations in the GPURE® GENEVO range?

The GENEVO range includes a wall-mounted model (GPG2500), a hob-mounted model (GPG1000), and a gooseneck wall-mounted model with internal infrared sensor (GPG3000). All are Grade 316 stainless steel with proprietary battery power and WELS 6-star rating.

Why is the water flow inconsistent and how to fix it?

Cause: Blocked aerator or inlet. Fix: Remove the aerator housing and clear any debris or obstructions. If needed, remove the tap body and clear any internal debris.

Why is no water flowing from the tap and how can I fix it?

The cause may be that the water is turned off or blocked. To fix it, remove any sticky tape from the sensor and activate the tap by hand before turning on the water supply.

Why is the tap not activating and how can I fix it?

The cause may be loose internal connections. To fix it, check that the solenoid and battery are properly connected, and verify the water connection to the tap.
